Driver's seat philosopher and landscape cultivator James Coarse sets the record straight in his first novel, a requiem for wounded soldiers (beer) and the ins and outs of contemporary boozing adventure. Summarized perfectly on Page 9:
"Less important here is health goals than the satisfaction of a job well done, with grace & taste & economy, with vision. Actually that's what this entire book is about & could be called "Grace & Taste & Economy, with Vision".
Coarse talks a big game, and the guy's writing is homey and lovable - and if nothing else, as my pops said "I'm not sure what I just read" - that should be convincing enough.
